Telehealth Limitations
Virtual consultations have clinical limitations and may not be suitable for every patient or condition. Dr. Golden may recommend an in-person evaluation when clinically necessary. Under federal law, controlled substances generally cannot be prescribed through a new telehealth encounter without a prior in-person medical examination.
